Famed Italian carrozzeria Zagato has unveiled a new interpretation of an old masterpiece, created at the behest of prominent Japanese car collector Mr. Y. Hayashi.
Mr. Hayashi contracted Zagato to create a new body for his Ferrari 575M in the style of Zagato’s original coachbuilt 250GTZ berlinetta. The resulting 575 GTZ features a light all-aluminum body with dynamic styling, two-tone paint and the trademark Zagato “double-bubble” roof. It will debut at the Villa D’Este Concours D’Elegance in Cernobbio, Italy, on April 22.
